Shooter details

Click on the shooter selection area to bring up the shooters menu.

The "Default shooter" has values determined when you installed the system.

For accurate target display, DrFire needs to know how far the shooter s from the wall./scree, how far to one side of the simulator (positive values to the right, negative values to the left) and the shooter's eye height.

Important: shooter eye height is when you are in the shooting stance - not your physical height

Click on "Show" to see (with a laser or on the projection screen) where the system thinks the shooter's straight ahead eye position is.

"New shooter" will create a new shooter - enter a suitable name. (This requires the optional Friends or Troop packs).

"Squads" allows the creation of named squads with selected shooters. (This requires the optional Friends or Troop packs and the optional Squadding add-on

Preferences

There are three ways to set shooter eye height.

  • Laser: a laser spot will appear on the wall and you can use the compass rose to move it to the correct position
  • Measurement: enter measured values
  • Alignment: carry out normal calibration and muzzle alignment - as you did when you installed the system.

Once a method is selected it will apply to all shooters.
